This morning I got up and checked the web for delays on my route.
I noticed that there were no trains between ‘s-Hertogenbosch and Utrecht so travelled to work with a detour.
Since today I am also travelling with One-way and return train-tickets as my 2nd class yearcard had to be sent for replacement.
Replacement yes. My second class card will be cancelled and once that is confirmed I will receive a First class traincard from the company that costs me 80 euro per month.
Payed from my salary.
80 euro per month for:
- unlimited train use everywhere in the Netherlands in First Class compartments.
- access to the First Class waiting lounge at bigger trainstations in the Netherlands
- in dutch Intercity trains only first class compartments have power connectors and adjustable seats.
Considering that I spend at least 3 hours a day in a train it doesn’t sound like such a bad offer.
So the comming 2 weeks the disandvantage and from then I’ll have luxary traintravels.
